Dusty & Brittany

After visiting Vegas, I just KNOW that it will always have a special place in my heart. From the moment I landed in the airport, I was greeted with the sounds of buzzing and coins jingling. Yes, the airport was filled with slot machines as soon as you got off the plane. Now I don’t know what I was expecting, but I never thought it would be anything like this! However, this blog isn’t about me but more so about Dusty and Brittany. These two put on the most amazing outfits as they stepped foot in front of my camera for the most amazing Vegas Wedding Portraits at the Flamingo Hotel.

VEGAS WEDDING PORTRAITS AT THE FLAMINGO HOTEL

We started off their session at the beautiful Flamingo Hotel. The Flamingo Hotel is one of the most well known hotels on the Vegas strip and with good reason… It's bright pink. You quite literally can’t miss it. It’s because of this fabulous reputation that The Flamingo Hotel has built for itself over the years, that we found it only fitting to have Dusty and Brittany’s Vegas wedding portraits here. We wanted to capture the essence of “just getting ready for your wedding in your hotel room” type vibes, so it was only natural for us to start here. Utilizing the beautiful natural light that came peeking in through the windows, it was pure and utter perfection.

Shortly after, we felt it was necessary to take the party outside to the streets so off we went! Towards the back of the Flamingo Hotel is actually an alleyway filled with restaurants, bars and activities for just about any type of person. Despite there being a plethora of people surrounding us that can only mean one thing… NOTHING because we didn’t care. When it comes to me taking your photos, I am down for just about anything and do not shy away at the mere fact that we’re surrounded by people. Vegas is known for its spontaneity and adventure, so of course we had to fit that into our shoot. We wandered about a bit just soaking up that amazing Vegas heat (if you know me, you know I’m a big fan of the heat). The palm trees were in fact paid actors for this shoot, but well worth every single penny - LOL.

Moral of the story is that you don’t need to go “all out” for your wedding day if you don’t want to. In fact, if you wanted to do the bare minimum you could absolutely do that too. Your wedding day can be as much of an adventure as you want it to be. Want to wander the streets of Vegas? Let’s go for it! Climb to the tallest peak of a mountain? I may be out of breath, but you got it! Make the day yours, step outside of the box, make your own memories and remember to enjoy every moment of it. These moments are the ones we cherish for our lifetimes, so make it worth remembering!

There is nothing else I would rather be doing than photographing these unique details that make you and your significant other a couple.
