Billy & Alyssa

If you have ever moved to a new state, you know how difficult it can be to meet new friends. Luckily, when I first moved to Utah I was able to meet Billy and Alyssa. The sweetest and kindest people and are actually newly engaged! Finding this out was like a dream come true and I knew that I had to get these two in front of my camera. Billy and Alyssa are photo newbies, so naturally, they were a bit nervous when it came time to get in front of the camera for their Inlet Park Hot Springs engagement in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Inlet Park Hot Springs | Saratoga Springs, Utah

For Billy and Alyssa’s Utah engagement photos, we headed to the Inlet Park Hot Springs in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Now don’t let those online photos fool you, because Inlet Park Hot Springs is actually one of the most beautiful places in Utah that I have ever been to. You not only have stunning views of the hot springs but also of Utah Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Utah. The Inlet Park Hot Springs are pools of water that are around 109 degrees. It makes it perfect for a quick dip, especially in the cooler months, but be weary once it gets hot outside.

Billy & Alyssa’s Inlet Park Hot Springs Engagement in Saratoga Springs, Utah

When it comes to taking your Utah engagement photos, I am a firm believer in doing whatever feels natural to you. While as a Utah wedding photographer, I can give you poses and prompts, the most authentic and genuine way to get beautiful imagery is through the natural movements and actions between you, the couple! Since Billy and Alyssa are Texas natives, they spent a good chunk of time during their engagement session square dancing! Something that they both enjoy together and is a key identifier in their relationship, which I thought was the cutest thing.

We spent their entire Utah engagement session getting to hang out and basically have me be the fly on the wall of their relationship. Watching them move, sway and be with each other and connect was and is my favorite thing to witness and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
