Ryan & Sloan
Ryan and Sloan are the kind of couple that are not afraid to be themselves. If that means dancing in the middle of the street, showcasing their rockin' tattoos or wearing clothes that express who they are, then I am HERE for it. We took to the infamous Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada with full force and let me tell you that it did not disappoint.

On my trip to Las Vegas, I had the most amazing opportunity to capture Ryan and Sloan for some wedding portraits on the infamous Fremont Street. Located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street is the ultimate destination location for entertainment, shopping and gaming. From endless shops, to casinos, to concerts and events, to even ziplining, there is always something going on here. Since it is such a tourist attraction, Fremont Street is always filled with the hustle and bustle of people wanting to experience the city that never sleeps. Luckily for us though, this craze amount of people, bright lights and excitement was exactly what we needed for Ryan and Sloan's bridals

For these bridals we pretty much wandered through Fremont Street and really were doing everything we can to be a little bit more creative than usual. Sloan wore this really short dress which really just embodied her personality completely, while Ryan kept things a little bit more subdued but still with its own unique charm. We even got to play around with different accessories like the cow print hat that Sloan added halfway through the session. Little props and accessories like that are a great way to add some diversity throughout your photos and really spice things up with minimal effort.
When doing your wedding portraits, you're often stuck on the idea that you should be a lot more elegant than usual but that just isn't the case anymore. While of course your wedding day portraits are a special occasion and should be cherished, that does not mean that you have to completely step outside of your element and do something that feels unnatural. In fact, I am a big proponent on doing the opposite. Your bridals should be a moment of expression. A moment where you and your partner can look back on and think "wow, yeah that's me". For Ryan and Sloan they were not shy in the slightest and to share who they are no matter what. Whether it be through their expressive clothing pieces to even being bold enough to showcase your tattoos and throw up their middle fingers. Your bridals should be an expression of you, who you are and what you're about. Don't be afraid to express yourself and showcase your individuality and uniqueness, that is what makes these sessions so incredibly special.
