LeeAnn & Tylor
LeeAnn and Tylor’s wedding was an absolute dream. I know that I say this a lot but I can’t help that I get to work with some of the most amazing couples ever. Regardless, their wedding day was filled with all of the beautiful details you could imagine and it was a day filled with love and celebration which of course, is why I love my job so much. You may also recognize LeeAnn & Tylor from their engagement session I shot a while back. Without further ado though, here is their Elegant Outdoor Summer Estate Wedding.
The Buhl Estate
LeeAnn and Tylor got married at The Addison Oaks Buhl Estate. You may recognize this wedding space from past weddings that I have photographed here. You can check some of those out here. The Buhl Estate really gives those classic cottage core vibes and was the perfect getaway for LeeAnn and Tylor’s wedding day. Planted on 750 acres of woodlands and lakes, formal flower gardens and intimate gathering spaces made it the absolute perfect wedding venue.
GETTING READY & DETAILS
One of the most important things for LeeAnn and Tylor was to put a lot of emphasis on their wedding details. Your wedding details, or flat lays as I like to call them, can be a great way to tell your love story through the use of objects. Something blue, something that’s old or even just pieces like your invitation suite or jewelry. All of these things put together make the beautiful detail photos that you may or may not be pinning on Pinterest. Speaking of Pinterest, you can check out mine here. Putting together a wedding flat lay is more than just slapping things together, it’s about making sure that they all flow together perfectly to tell your story. Let’s just say… they can take a bit of time to put together but are well worth it.
So as soon as I arrived at LeeAnn and Tylor’s wedding day, I began snapping away at the beautiful dainty little details that were laid out for me. While I was doing that LeeAnn and her bridesmaids were finishing getting ready and making sure to soak up this moment to the absolute fullest.

THE FIRST LOOK
Now, prior to the wedding day, LeeAnn and Tylor had planned to have just their original first look. However, days leading up to their special day LeeAnn told me there was a change of plans. Not only would there be one first look… there would be three. One of those being, the best man dressing up in a bridesmaids dress to surprise Tyler. To say he was surprised would be an understatement. Next, LeeAnn chose to have a first look with the wedding party before meeting up with her husband-to-be for their actual first look.
The waterworks were still in full effect though.

PORTRAITS
Thanks to our handy dandy timeline, we were able to get family, wedding party AND couple portraits all before LeeAnn and Tylor’s ceremony. This was HUGE since this led us to not feeling rushed in the slightest. Making sure you plan out your wedding day accordingly is key to having a stress-free and worry-free wedding day.

CEREMONY & RECEPTION
Once we had finished their wedding portraits, it was time for the ceremony. Their outdoor ceremony space was absolutely beautiful at The Buhl Estate. Everyone was lined up, waiting for the beautiful bride to make her debut. In the audience, you could see the reserved seat made special for LeeAnn’s dad who unfortunately could not be there for the wedding day. LeeAnn and Tylor’s “flower man” came bearing down the aisle tossing flower petals into the sky. It gave everyone a good laugh, which is always a great start to a ceremony. LeeAnn walked down the aisle as she locked her eyes with Tylor’s. It was pure magic as they stood there, reciting their vows and committing themselves to one another. Just like that… LeeAnn and Tylor were married - woohoo!!
Since we had taken a majority of their couples portraits before the ceremony, LeeAnn and Tylor were able to enjoy a nice cocktail hour. I did sneak them outside for a few golden hour portraits because how could I not?! Before we knew it, the reception space opened up and we were left dancing the night away as everyone joined in the celebration. It was a true moment of everyone coming together for LeeAnn and Tylor and I feel so honored to have been the one to document this special day for them.
